“Nectar Foods” is a catering business of the Bhakti Yoga Institute, based in West London, run by Bhakti yoga practitioners.
"We started Nectar Foods catering company to express our Love for cooking and to help towards the funding of our center/charity in West London."
Our international cooking team comes from as far as Venezuela, Hungary, Holland and China. We have all been vegetarian (without eggs or fish) for over 20 years. Contributing to the welfare of animal care, veganism and raw foods are healthy and nutritious without causing suffering to others. All our foods are prepared in our professional kitchen, an environment that promotes conscious Sattvic cooking with love, an awareness and connection from where our ingredients come from.
A Sattvic diet means in the mode of goodness - not only vegetarian food but food rich in Prana - 'life-force' like organic fresh fruits and vegetables. It requires avoiding canned and processed food, and foods prepared with chemical fertilizers or sprays.
Our cooking team have a wonderful time making all the preparations. Most of us are volunteers and all of the profit goes to the maintance of our centre the Bhakti Yoga Institute.
